1. Volunteer at the centre: Dozens of volunteers have either worked individually, in duos or in a group at our centres. Your tasks will be customised according to your talents, interests and experience. Former volunteers for example have helped with painting and decorating workshops, organising arts festivals or organising the administrative systems. You will be required: to stay a minimum of three months, have stable health, be of minimum age of 21, pay for your own travel and expenses.
2. Internship, research or graduation thesis: With six training centres and two offices (in the Netherlands and Zimbabwe), YA is a dynamic organisation with a lot going on. There are plenty internship or research opportunities and we can work something out based on the level of your formal education.
3. Volunteer from your hometown: Get in touch with us if you want to contribute to YA from your hometown by way of volunteering your time and/or expertise.
4. Use your network: We have found great success in reaching out to our alma maters and collaborating with various companies and schools. Various companies have, for example, donated materials such as computers for our IT labs. Schools have supported us by organising awareness and fundraising activities.
