Is a project funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mozambique and provides access to vocational, entrepreneurship and life skills training for 1300 young people, including those whose lives are affected by HIV.
During this 18 month project Young Africa International and partners, International Organization for Migration (IOM), FrontlineAids and IdeiaLab join forces to economically empower 1300 young people, who either are HIV positive or at risk of contracting the virus. Skills2Live focus is on economic empowerment and health which are closely related. Economic empowerment will be driven through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) paired with Entrepreneurship and Life Skills Training, while simultaneously giving access to life changing HIV and sexual reproductive Health and Rights interventions, will lead to improved health conditions and a healthier life in general.
Skills2Live is implemented in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mozambique and sets a footprint for similar projects being rolled out.
