The Spirit of Young Africa
As global citizens, with African hearts and Dutch and Indian by nationality, Dorien Beurskens and Raj A. Joseph set out to fight youth unemployment in Southern Africa back in 1998. From the start onwards, Young Africa is an organisation that is owned by local people, embraces cultural diversity and is based on sound equal rights values. Today, around 40.000 youths are trained with skills to find paid work or start their own business.
