Two Nominees of the Botswana Youth Awards Are in the Pocket

Young Africa Botswana has exciting news to share. Today they would like to appreciate two young men from our Futuremakers Botswana family who have been nominated for the Botswana Youth Awards 2020-2021!
Our Learning and Development Manager, Timothy Kago Mweembawho, has been nominated for the “Best Youth in Leadership” award. Anyone and everyone who has crossed paths with this young man can attest to why he was nominated.
Get this, the second nominee, Tshepang Motsisi, is a beneficiary of our Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program Cohort that graduated on the 28th of May 2021. He has been nominated for the “Best Youth in Creative Arts” award.
Last week, Young Africa Botswana, officially launched the Futuremakers Botswana programme focused on developing young and aspiring entrepreneurs. This feeds into Young Africa’s overall mission which is to empower youth with skills.
The Futuremakers Botswana project is funded by Standard Chartered Botswana and implemented by Young Africa Botswana in collaboration with Youth Business International and Department of National Service and Internship – DNSI- MYSC BW.
