World Youth Skills Day 2020: Share Your Story With Us

Young Africa students this is for you!! With our Young Africa centres closed down, we are eager to know how you are doing and how you have been coping with the COVID-19 pandemic whilst staying at home.

These stories will be shared as part of our commemoration to mark World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) on 15 July 2020, and highlights the importance of skills development for employability and entrepreneurship. Your video will be shared on Young Africa’s social media pages.

This is a call to share your story with us!

Record a small video of your experiences and show us how you are coping. Please state your name, age, country and training centre and answer the following questions:

  • How has COVID-19 affected you?
  • How are you keeping up with your learning and skills training?
  • What do you hope for?
  • What message would you like to share with other young people who are watching your video?

Please note: record the video in a well-lit area, make sure the person speaking is in the centre of the frame and test the sound. The video should be at most 1 minute long.

The deadline for submitting your video is Friday 10 July. You can send your video via email to: ya.int@youngafrica.org, via a message to your training centre’s Facebook page or WhatsApp.

Let us know what’s going on with you!
