• Young Africa to Host TVET Network Conference and Launch E-learning Platform

    November 7, 2025

Next week, Young Africa will bring together key actors in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector for a TVET Network Conference, under the theme “Partnering for Innovative and Market-Driven TVET.”

Over the years, Young Africa has observed that many stakeholders in the TVET sector are working in isolation. Their efforts, while valuable, could be greatly enhanced through stronger coordination and collaboration. It is against this background that Young Africa is establishing the TVET Network: a platform that will unite government ministries, NGOs, training institutions, corporates, and donors to strengthen partnerships, share best practices, and build a collective voice for youth skills development.

“More effective vocational training, leading to skills and livelihood, is what our growing youth population needs. This conference is a unique opportunity to join forces with other players in the sector: private sector, experts, practitioners, donors, and governments.” — Dorien Beurskens, Co-Founder, Young Africa International

During the conference, Young Africa will also officially launch its new E-learning Platform, making vocational and life skills training accessible to young people across Africa – anytime, anywhere, and free of charge.

“To be able to launch our long-awaited eLearning Platform for vocational training -a real gamechanger for youths who don’t have access to training- is the best celebration of 10 years of Young Africa International!” — Dorien Beurskens, Co-Founder, Young Africa International

Stakeholders and partners are invited to join the conference online and take part in shaping the future of TVET collaboration.
