Amélia António, a 22-year-old student enrolled in a carpentry course, did not initially choose this course because her dream was to enroll in a Pastry course. However, the Pastry course was already full. Faced with a strong desire to graduate and acquire a skill, Amélia made a decision and enrolled in the Carpentry course. The beginning was not easy. Amélia confesses that she barely knew how to use the tools. However, with dedication, her passion for Carpentry grew every day, transforming what was an alternative into a true vocation.

After successfully completing her training, Amélia did an internship and is now employed in the field of training. Her journey has become a source of great pride and inspiration. In her testimony, she shares her joy at having exceeded expectations

“In my family, no one expected me to get a job. And today, I work and am able to support my daughters, because I am single mother.”
