Young Africa Mozambique Loves To Train Youth

Thirty-one students and youth advocacy champions under the Youth Power for Peace and Prosperity (YP3) project took part in a training on becoming a psychosocial support trainer. The training took place at our centre in Dondo, Mozambique and was facilitated by our partner FDC – Fundação para o Desenvolvimento da Comunidade. A total of 130 young people will become agents of change in offering psychosocial support to survivors of civil conflicts and Cyclone Idai.

Another YP3 training took place hosted by FAMOD-Forum of Mozambican Association for Disabled People on Sign Language. Twenty eight young people received sign language skills. With the support of the European Union we are able to make education more inclusive.

The YP3 project is a consortium between Young Africa International, Young Africa Mozambique and the Foundation of Development Cooperation and is funded by The European Union. The project is being implemented in Mozambique.
