Young Africa Zimbabwe: Retooling For The Future
While the training sites at Young Africa Zimbabwe are still closed to students, the teams on the ground have been busy renovating and retooling their workshops.
At the centre in Chitungwiza the cosmetology department has been renovated and newly equipped. With new hair dryers used during the hairdressing courses and massage beds for the beauty therapy courses, the workshops are ready to be used again. Thanks to our partner SERVE we are able to continue to offer quality training to our youth.
But there is more: the induced break, due to the lockdowns, has allowed the centre in Epworth to retool their dressmaking department. Youth are our number one priority. With the assistance of the Nationale Postcode Loterij we can keep offering high quality training.
